Altar and Sanctuary, An Exposition of the Externals of the Mass This series was started and organized as a "Religious Discussion Club." The material is presented in 16 brief chapters and contains a number of questions which have been asked by a number of Catholics - and the answers are provided, each within its historical context. Visits to the sanctuary, with the pastor or sacristan, for the purpose of observing the altar stone, the sacred vessels, the vestments, altar linens, and such will do much toward creating interest and a better understanding of the externals of the Holy Mass.
