Who We Are

As Catholics of St. Gianna Parish, in communion with our Archbishop, and our Holy Father, the Bishop of Rome, we are called by Jesus Christ to be His body, the Church, in our local community and to fully live the Gospel.

With faith, hope and charity, we strive to live our discipleship by fervent prayer, inspired worship, sound teaching, and sharing our faith with those in physical and spiritual need.

An Archdiocesan wide campaign by the Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri has commenced to provide for future needs of parishes and for the Roman Catholic Foundation's Education Fund. This RCFEF helps to ensure funding solutions for Catholic Education throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis as well as raising funds for each parish's use, according to their own local needs.

Our parishes are the heart of our Church and must be vibrant to prepare and nurture the next generation of Catholics. Each parish will receive 40% of the funds raised through their parish campaign. After campaign expenses, the remaining 60% will go into the Catholic Education Fund for scholarship and grant use throughout the Archdiocesan community and to keep our schools competitive with educational advancements. This initiative is supported by Archbishop Carlson.
